We are in the middle of a five year plan and have much to celebrate and much more to look forward to as we set up Camp for future generations.
Projects that are now funded – Chapel and 4 cabins
In the spring of 2014, we reached our goal of 1.2 million as over 500 individuals participated. Three large donations were made and over $200,000 was raised from brick donations alone.
- Chapel – to be completed in fall 2014
Our new place to worship, hear God’s word taught and to sit in solitude is all that we dreamed it would be. A place set apart designed to inspire and draw each camper closer to our Creator. We believe that for each Dad, his foundation starts by connecting with his Heavenly Father and realizing that he is a son first. The chapel and surrounding grounds will the best place for this and so much more to happen.
- 4 new cabins – these cabins will replace the ones built more than 30 years ago.
Future plans that need funding – Project budget: $650,000
- Lodge dining room expansion and remodel
- Staff shower house and new staff cabins
- Medical clinic
- Solar system expansion
- 2nd pole barn
You can help!
Since we began in 1976, the backbone of Camp has been volunteers. Consider volunteering for one of our Work Weeks. These occur each Spring/May and mid-August thru mid-September. Refer to the spring and Fall Work Camp tab and/or contact Camp Director Tim Vanden Bos at firstname.lastname@example.org
Consider donating to our Room to Grow campaign. While owned, operated, and supported by Willow Creek, all our construction funding comes through donations. Consider helping us build for the future.
